Small private coves of the North Coast open out into large expansive beaches. Although the more popular beaches can become crowded there are many unspoilt less frequented areas, which provide tranquillity and peace. Should you come in the winter months the same beaches will exhilarate you with the North Atlantic rollers pounding the surf line.
The delightful surrounding villages of Crantock and West Pentire provide a wealth of local inns village shops and craft centres.
The golf courses in Cornwall are second to none with the challenge of links or more traditional courses. Superb Sea, Course and fly-fishing is easily accessible.
If surfing is your thing, North Cornwall’s beaches are world renowned, with the world championships taking place at the famous Watergate Bay 15 minutes drive away. Most major beaches in the area provide surfing courses, including Crantock.
The Eden Project is approximately 20 miles, St.Ives is 25 miles and Padstow 20 miles. Crantock is superbly located for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer, from National Trust properties, to smugglers coves or stunning beaches.
Flying to Newquay is an option from many UK airports. We are only 15 minutes drive and can always collect you if you prefer not to hire a car. Alternatively Newquay train station is a short drive or the mainline stations of Bodmin and Truro are 15-25 miles.
